Server Configurations

Path of Titans offers powerful server configuration options. The following are all the available server configuration options.

INFO

When you download the server files using the Update script, it will not automatically create certain files and folders, such as Game.ini and the rest of the Saved folder files.

Details
  • Starting the server without any additional arguments will create these files in the appropriate place even if the server doesn't start properly.
  • These files are normally created when the game shutsdown so make sure to stop the server before editing these files.

WARNING

The server must be stopped while editing server files. You must save your edits and restart your server for any edits to take effect.

To change the configuration options, you must edit your Game.ini file.

TIP

Each option must be on its own line or else they will not work. The options might also be removed if they are default values.

You can find your Game.ini file in the following location:

INFO

WindowsServer is the folder name for Windows servers. If you are using a different operating system, the folder name will be different but the other folders will be the same.

IGameSession Options

Inside the Game.ini file, add a header called [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession] and put any of the following settings underneath. Each line must be listed under this header or else they will not work.

TIP

The values in the examples are just placeholders or default values. You can adjust them to your liking.

Characters that are further away are unaffected by the login timer.

Changing Login Debuff length and statsWhen a player logs in, they will have a Login Debuff applied to their character. You can adjust the length and stat changes of this buff by adding the following:

- CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.LoginDebuffIncomingDamage",Values=(2))
- CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.LoginDebuffAttackDamage",Values=(0.4))
This uses the same format as adjusting dinosaur stats, learn how to adjust stats here.
Changing Group Buff statsWhen players are grouped and near each other they gain increased movement speed and stamina regeneration. You can adjust these values by adding the following:
- CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.GroupLeaderBuffStaminaRecoveryMultiplier",Values=(1.1))
- CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.GroupLeaderBuffSpeedMultiplier",Values=(1.05))
This uses the same format as adjusting dinosaur stats, learn how to adjust stats here.
Changing Combat timer durationWhen players attack each other, they gain an "In Combat" status that prevents healing and logging out. You can change the duration of this state by adding the following:
- CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.InCombatDuration",Values=(30))
This uses the same format as adjusting dinosaur stats, learn how to adjust stats here.
Changing Group Slot SizesWhen players group up, their dino will fill a certain number of group slots. You can change the number of slots by adding the following for any desired dinosaur:
- GroupSlotSizeOverrides=(DinoAssetID="Allosaurus",GroupSize=5)
This uses the same format as adjusting dinosaur stats, learn how to adjust stats here.
